Stable Reunites At WWE Clash At The Castle

Anticipation for Clash at the Castle has been at an all time high in recent weeks, and Gunther put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Sheamus at the big event.

Sheamus made his entrance with Brawling Brutes stablemates Butch and Ridge Holland, and Gunther didn’t come alone either. Gunther entered Principality Stadium with not just Ludwig Kaiser by his side, but also with Giovanni Vinci. The commentators then noted that Gunther had reassembled Imperium.

As Sheamus fought with Gunter in the ring the other members of the Brawling Brutes battled with the other members of Imperium on the outside. For most of the match Gunther absolutely dominated Sheamus and he made the Celtic Warrior’s chest bleed with a series of chops.

Sheamus was able to make a comeback and he hit Gunther with a Celtic Cross from the top rope, but it wasn’t enough to put Gunther away. He tried to follow up with a Brogue Kick, but his back gave out and Gunther followed up with a powerbomb then a clothesline for the win.

After the match the rest of Imperium returned to ringside to celebrate with Gunther and walk with him to the backstage area. After they left the music stopped and Sheamus received a standing ovation from the crowd.
