The road to WrestleMania 39 continues tonight on SmackDown as the show is set to build toward WWE’s biggest show of the year. It looks like we could be seeing some brand crossover tonight as Fightful Select is reporting that Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens are both in town for tonight’s show as well as some more Raw talent.
Xavier Woods is also scheduled for SmackDown this week even though his New Day teammates are currently out of action due to injury. WWE has brought in extras to work as security guards and there’s set to be some WWE 2K23 integration on the show.
As far as confirmed segments go WWE has announced that Drew McIntyre and Sheamus will face off with the winner earning a shot at Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania. Sami Zayn is also set to confront Jey Uso on SmackDown.
