This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will continue to build up the Night of Champions premium live event and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion is set to make his return to the blue brand.
Ahead of the show the WRKD Wrestling account is reporting that fans should expect to see multiple debuts for NXT stars who got called up during the draft. It’s also being reported that Roman Reigns will continue to lose trust in The Usos and he will decide to take matters into his own hands at Night of Champions.

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament is set to continue tonight and WWE has confirmed the following matches for SmackDown:
Edge vs. Rey Mysterio vs. AJ Styles
Bobby Lashley vs. Austin Theory vs. Sheamus
The winner of each triple threat match will face off later in the night and the winner of that match will go on to face Seth Rollins in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament finals at Night of Champions.
It’s also been confirmed that Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez will be defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Damage CTRL tonight. Stay tuned for updates.
