Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw will be the first show following the WWE Backlash premium live event and it looks like Raw will set the stage for Night of Champions later this month.
Fightful Select reports that as of Sunday the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament was set to take up a significant portion of the show. Triple H recently announced that Raw will feature two triple threat matches with the winner of each match facing off against one another later in the night. Over the weekend WWE confirmed that Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, The Miz, Damian Priest, Shinsuke Nakamura and Finn Balor will be competing in the tournament.
It’s also being reported that numerous “Missing” posters have been made up for Becky Lynch to continue the storyline between Lynch and Trish Stratus. Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville are set to do an angle where they petition members of the roster to go against management.
WWE shook things up over the last few weeks with the 2023 draft and the new rosters are set to go into effect tonight on Raw. People who spoke on the situation expected a new and immediate infusion of talent following the draft.
