Now that Elimination Chamber has come and gone WrestleMania is the next big show on WWE’s premium live event schedule and the weeks ahead are sure to be exciting for wrestling fans. With WrestleMania comes the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, but WWE has yet to officially announce any names for the 2023 class.
After Vince McMahon retired last year there was some speculation that he could be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. However, WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport that McMahon isn’t expected to be inducted this year. Batista could be a possibility as he recently said that he’s hoping to be inducted this year.
“Vince McMahon is not going to happen, at least as far as this year. Batista seems like it makes the most sense. It’s kind of owed to him.”
Earlier this year WWE allowed Shinsuke Nakamura to face off against The Great Muta at a Pro Wrestling NOAH event, and it’s being reported that The Great Muta will be inducted this year as part of the deal.
“The Great Muta. I heard that was the trade off. I heard he’s going in as a trade off for the Shinsuke Nakamura match.”
Former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia has also been discussed for the 2023 class. Stay tuned for more updates on the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony as they become available.
