AJ Styles made a huge WWE debut a few weeks ago at the Royal Rumble and he also had a big debut on Raw the next night. AJ Styles kicked things off with a big win over Chris Jericho on Raw recently and last week Jericho issued a challenge for a rematch. Styles and Jericho clashed once again at this week’s SmackDown tapings in Portland, OR. So who won their big rematch?
Well, things didn’t get off to a good start for Jericho and Styles at this week’s SmackDown tapings. They tried to have their match early in the show, but they were interrupted by the Social Outcasts. This led to a tag team match featuring AJ Styles and Chris Jericho taking on Adam Rose and Curtis Axel. Jericho and Styles won but after the match Jericho hit Styles with a Codebreaker to knock him out.
Later in the show AJ Styles and Chris Jericho finally got to have their rematch in the main event. The two men put on what was said to be another great match but in the end it was Chris Jericho that got the clean win with the Codebreaker.
