Tonight Impact Wrestling will return to the Impact Zone in Orlando, FL for another set of tapings, and on Thursday night Jeremy Borash teased that a star who hasn’t worked with the company in over a decade would be making an appearance on Friday

After the announcement was made, fans speculated that it could be Matt Sydal, better known to WWE fans as Evan Bourne. PWInsider is now reporting that Matt Sydal is indeed slated to be part of the Impact Wrestling tapings tonight in Orlando.
Sydal won’t be the only former star returning this week, as Sonjay Dutt returned during the live episode of Impact on Thursday, and Low Ki returned as well and won the X-Division Championship in the main event.
It’s also being reported that Allie and Braxton Sutter have signed new deals with Impact Wrestling. Global Force Wrestling Women’s Champion Christina Von Eerie has also signed a deal because as Karen Jarrett announced on Thursday, GFW has merged with Impact.
Viewership for this week’s live episode of Impact Wrestling was up slightly, and the show drew 320,000 viewers according to ShowBuzzDaily.com. Viewership for this week’s show was up compared to last week’s episode which drew 302,000 viewers.
