Quite a few names have finished up with Impact Wrestling recently, and there’s been a lot of speculation about former TNA World Heavyweight Champion James Storm possibly leaving as well.
Storm’s Impact Wrestling contract is set to expire in January, so fans of James Storm have been keeping a close eye on this week’s TV tapings in Canada.
Thursday night Impact held their last TV taping in Canada, and James Storm lost a match to Dan Lambert with the stipulation being that the loser had to leave the company, so it appears that he is done with Impact.
James Storm seems to have confirmed his departure on Twitter when he posted the following:
Storm joined TNA in 2002 and has spent the majority of his career working for the company. He did join NXT for a brief stint, but he eventually returned to TNA and said that the timing wasn’t right for him to work with NXT full time.
However, he remains on good terms with Triple H and has said that the door remains open for him to return to NXT if he chooses to do so.
We’ll just have to wait and see what the future holds for Storm.
