This year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view is set to feature a Raw vs. SmackDown theme, and the two brands will face off in Champion vs. Champion matches, as well as traditional Survivor Series elimination matches.
It’s already been confirmed that Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler will be part of Team Raw, and at the SmackDown tapings in Manchester, England, a few names were confirmed for Team SmackDown.
During the tapings it was announced that Daniel Bryan and The Miz will be co-captains for Team SmackDown.
It was also announced that Shane will be part of Team SmackDown.
Bryan and Miz also decided that Rey Mysterio would qualify for the team if he defeated Andrade “Cien” Almas during SmackDown Live, and he picked up the win to earn a spot on the team.
Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe later faced off in a match to determine the final competitor for the team, and Samoa Joe defeated Hardy to take the final spot.
