Tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is set to deal with the fallout from Sunday night’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view, and the Raw brand will move forward as the buildup for Great Balls of Fire begins.
PWInsider is reporting that a big part tonight’s show will be built around the upcoming Brock Lesnar vs. Samoa Joe Universal Title match at the next pay-per-view. Paul Heyman is also backstage, so it’s likely that he’ll be appearing on tonight’s show to hype up the upcoming title match.
Speaking of title matches, it’s also being reported that current plans call for Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss to defend her title against Nia Jax on tonight’s show. Jax teased earlier today via Twitter that she wants a shot at the belt.
WWE has also announced that Bray Wyatt will battle Roman Reigns in a one on one match on Raw, and The Miz will be celebrating his Intercontinental Championship “comeback tour” in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight’s show:
- Can Samoa Joe conquer The Beast Incarnate?
- Cesaro & Sheamus take The Hardy Boyz to the Extreme
- What’s next for Alexa Bliss?
- The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship “comeback tour” begins
- What dirt did Corey Graves have on Kurt Angle?
