This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is shaping up to be a big show and we already know that Carmelo Hayes will be in action. Last week on SmackDown, Carmelo Hayes confronted General Manager Nick Aldis and told him to figure out where he fits in on the SmackDown brand.
Aldis told Carmelo Hayes that he has someone very special in mind just for him, and since then there’s been a lot of speculation regarding who Carmelo’s opponent could be.
It seems that Carmelo’s mystery opponent may have been revealed as Dr. Chris Featherstone is reporting that the former NXT Champion is set to face off against Braun Strowman.
Braun Strowman has been off TV since September after he faced off against Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing match. Following the match it was confirmed that Strowman suffered a torn groin.
Even though Braun Strowman has been off TV he did team up with Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee to defeat Carlito, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in a dark match at the 11/15 SmackDown tapings.
