The Last Time Is Now Tournament kicked off earlier this month and Sheamus picked up a big victory in the first round. However, it was announced ahead of SmackDown this week that The Celtic Warrior had been pulled from the tournament due to injury, which left fans to wonder who his replacement would be. Following SmackDown on Friday night WWE taped next week’s show, and the replacement was revealed.
PWInsider is reporting that R-Truth and The Miz both wanted in the tournament, and Miz switched his name with R-Truth’s to get back in. LA Knight went on to defeat The Miz later in the show in what was said to have been a really good match.
