It was an action packed weekend in the world of professional wrestling, and fans saw a few big returns. Becky Lynch made her surprise return at the SummerSlam pay-per-view, and she shocked the world when she challenged Bianca Belair to an impromptu SmackDown Women’s Title match then walked out with the belt.
PWInsider reports that current plans call for Becky Lynch to be positioned as the top heel on the SmackDown brand moving forward, and she will initially feud with Bianca Belair.
It was also noted that Becky Lynch was working out with Indi Hartwell at the Performance Center earlier this summer as part of the process for her getting cleared.
Lynch had been in attendance for a number of WWE pay-per-view events, and up until this week original plans called for her to return sometime in October.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
