This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to air live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX and the show will focus on the build for the upcoming Elimination Chamber premium live event.
WWE has confirmed that two title matches will take place on SmackDown this week as Jade Cargill is set to defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Jordynne Grace, and Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky will be defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Nia Jax & Lash Legend.
Ahead of the show Fightful Select is reporting that everyone they spoke to in WWE expects Jade Cargill to emerge victorious in her match tonight and continue with the WWE Women’s Championship.
Two Elimination Chamber qualifying matches have also been confirmed for SmackDown this week with Cody Rhodes, Jacob Fatu and Sami Zayn facing off to determine who will advance to the men’s match, and Alexa Bliss, Giulia and Zelina facing off to determine who will advance to the women’s match.
