It’s been reported that WWE planned to tape WrestleMania 36 on Wednesday and Thursday this week, but it sounds like WWE had to make some big changes to the card after several stars were pulled from the show.
PWInsider originally reported that current United States Champion Andrade was pulled from WrestleMania, and now Post Wrestling is reporting that NXT star Austin Theory worked as Andrade’s replacement.
Andrade teamed up with Angel Garza to challenge The Street Profits for the Raw Tag Team Titles.
It’s been reported that Andrade suffered a rib injury, and Post Wrestling notes that the injury is said to be “very minor” and it’s expected that Andrade will be cleared to return to the ring in a few days.
