Spoiler On Released WWE Superstar Making AEW Debut

This week on Dynamite it was announced that AEW All Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy would be defending his title on Rampage. Kip Sabian confronted Cassidy and told him that he couldn’t challenge for the belt because he’s hurt, so he told Sabian to find someone who could.

Trent Seven ended up making his debut on Rampage and he challenged Orange Cassidy for the AEW All Atlantic Championship. Unfortunately for Trent it was Cassidy who ended up winning the match.

Trent Seven started working with WWE in 2016 when he competed in the tournament to crown the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion. He went on to win the NXT UK Tag Team Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championship with Tyler Bate. It was announced back in August that he was released from his WWE contract.

Stay tuned for more updates on Trent Seven’s AEW status as they become available.
