Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will continue the build for Night of Champions, and it looks like WWE has some interesting plans for the show.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns ordered The Usos to apologize for losing the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania, and he followed up by announcing that he and Solo Sikoa will challenge Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn for the belts at Night of Champions. The WRKD Wrestling account is reporting that Roman Reigns will continue to get fed up with The Usos tonight.
It’s also being reported that Sheamus will be looking to get into the hunt for a title. The title wasn’t specified, but it’s worth noting that United States Champion Austin Theory does not currently have a match scheduled for Night of Champions.
SmackDown is expected to feature the debut of some NXT draftees, and it’s being said that time is “running out for AJ Styles” who is set to appear on the Grayson Waller Effect tonight.
Stay tuned for more updates on SmackDown as they become available.
