The WWE main roster is loaded with talent right now and it seems that several WWE stars have found that there’s strength in numbers. Groups like The Bloodline, The Judgment Day and Imperium have been able to achieve success, but in recent months things have been falling apart for the LWO.
Santos Escobar turned on the group when he attacked Rey Mysterio and since then he’s been on his own. However, Santos Escobar will be getting some backup sooner rather than later.
This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was taped last week and the show featured Santos Escobar vs. Bobby Lashley in a United States Title Tournament match. During the match Humberto Carillo & Angel Garza interfere on behalf of Santos Escobar.
It’s been rumored for some time now that Carillo & Garza would be forming an alliance with Santos Escobar and it appears that alliance will be formed tonight.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the idea is for the group to feud with Rey Mysterio, Carlito, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro. However, with Rey Mysterio out of action there’s speculation that Escobar, Carillo & Garza will be feuding with Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits first. It’s also been speculated that Escobar’s group could add a woman because B-Fab has been teased for Bobby Lashley’s group.
