The stars of AEW had a big weekend as the Revolution pay-per-view aired live and Sting wrestled his final match in the main event. Now it seems that the company is looking to keep the momentum going with some big debuts in the coming weeks.
PWInsider is reporting that sources in Japan have confirmed that Kazuchika Okada traveled to Los Angeles last week and is still in the United States. The expectation is that Okada will be making his debut at tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
It was announced back in January that Kazuchika Okada would not be renewing his contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling which led to a lot of speculation regarding which company he would sign with following his departure.
Fightful Select reported last month that Okada was expected to sign with AEW and later followed up with another report noting that the hope was the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion would be able to debut on the March 6 episode of Dynamite.
Next week AEW will present Big Business from the TD Garden in Boston where Mercedes Mone is expected to make her debut with the company. Stay tuned for more updates on AEW debuts as they become available.
