The last year or so has been filled with twists and turns for Cody Rhodes as he defeated Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40, but The American Nightmare dropped the belt to John Cena last month at WrestleMania 41. Cody Rhodes has been quiet following WrestleMania 41, and he has not made an appearance on WWE programming since the Show of Shows.
During a recent Q&A on Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge, WrestleVotes noted that Cody Rhodes is currently scheduled to be at the Money in the Bank premium live event next month.
“I do believe he’s still scheduled to be a part of the Money in the Bank show. Don’t know if he’s wrestling. Don’t know if that’s when his return will happen, but as far as I know, he will be in Los Angeles for that PLE.”
The annual Money in the Bank premium live event is still a few weeks away, so it will be interesting to see what type of role Cody Rhodes plays at the event, and if he ends up stepping into the ring.
