Spoiler On Planned WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament Winner

Weeks ago Raw General Manager Adam Pearce officially revealed the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Earlier this month a tournament kicked off to crown the inaugural champion, and it looks like WWE has decided on a winner.

Dr. Chris Featherstone recently shared an update on plans for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship when he hinted that a former NXT Women’s Champion will be the first person to win the belt.

Currently there are two semifinal matches left in the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament with Zoey Stark set to face Dakota Kai and Lyra Valkyria set to face Iyo Sky.

Iyo Sky and Lyra Valkyria are the only two women left in the tournament who have won the NXT Women’s Championship, so if WWE does indeed move forward with plans for a former NXT Women’s Champion to win then that means either Iyo or Lyra will be walking about with the gold.

Who would you rather see win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament, Iyo Sky or Lyra Valkyria? Sound off in the comments below.
