WWE has been making some changes in recent months by giving current stars new gimmicks and new names. Over the last few weeks WWE has been releasing vignettes promoting Giovanni Vinci that have piqued the interest of the fans.
It looks like Giovanni Vinci will someone who is familiar to fans as Fightful Select reports that former Imperium member Fabian Aichner is set for the role. Archer has been off TV for months now and it was reported back in April that he was set to be repackaged. It was also noted that the voice in the video packages promoting Giovanni Vinci is not Fabian Aichner.
Aichner’s former Imperium stable mates Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser (FKA Marcel Barthel) were both called up to the Friday Night SmackDown brand and they’ve been receiving a push in recent weeks. The group hoped to be called up together, but it seems that WWE had other plans.
