You never know when you could see a big debut on WWE programming, and it looks like we’ll be seeing a well decorated tag team arrive sooner than later. This week on Friday Night SmackDown, WWE aired a “COMING SOON” vignette which featured footage of Detroit. Fans immediately started to speculate that the teaser was signaling the arrival of the Motor City Machine Guns.
PWInsider is reporting that the vignette is for the Motor City Machine Guns. It was noted that originally WWE planned for Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley to have a short run in NXT before moving on.
It was rumored that the Motor City Machine Guns could show up for the NXT premiere on the CW earlier this week, but they were not in Chicago. Current plans call for Sabin and Shelley to join the SmackDown brand when they debut.
Stay tuned for more updates on the arrival of the Motor City Machine Guns as they become available.
