You never know who might return when you watch WWE programming, and it seems that we could be seeing a big return next week when Raw airs live from the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI.
Viper Reports of PWN and Bodyslam.net is reporting that Goldberg is planned to make his return during next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. The expectation is that Goldberg will be going after the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
Goldberg made his surprise return to WWE back in October of 2024 when he got into a heated altercation with Gunther at the Bad Blood premium live event. Shortly after the former Universal Champion revealed that he would be competing in a retirement match inside a WWE ring.
Last month Goldberg teased that his retirement match would be taking place in the south, and the match has been rumored for Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, GA on July 12. Goldberg has not competed in a wrestling match since he faced off against Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber premium live event in February of 2022.
Stay tuned for updates.
