This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will emanate from the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, OH and some big matches have already been confirmed for the show. Cody Rhodes will be teaming up with Randy Orton to take on Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker in the main event, and Sami Zayn will also continue his United States Open Challenge.
Ahead of Friday Night SmackDown this week PWInsider is reporting that Hikuleo is backstage at the show. Hikuleo debuted earlier this year under the name Talla Tonga when he helped Solo Sikoa defeat Jacob Fatu at Night of Champions. However, he has not appeared on WWE programming since August.
In recent weeks WWE has been airing vignettes on SmackDown featuring Solo Sikoa reintroducing the members of his MFT stable, so it will be interesting to see if Talla Tonga is featured in another one of those vignettes tonight.
Current WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer has also been spotted in the Cincinnati area ahead of SmackDown. Vaquer is set to face Tiffany Stratton at Crown Jewel next week and her presence in Cincinnati seems to indicate that we could see a confrontation between the two champions tonight.
WWE is currently focused on the following points for tonight’s show:
– Cody Rhodes & Randy Orton go to war against Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker
– Sami Zayn’s United States Open Challenge continues
– Tiffany Stratton sets her sights on Crown Jewel and Stephanie Vaquer
Stay tuned for updates.
