The men’s Royal Rumble match main evented the Royal Rumble premium live event last weekend and the match kicked off in a big way. Oba Femi entered the match at number 1, and Bron Breakker entered the match at number 2.
Unfortunately for Bron Breakker a mystery man wearing a hoodie appeared out of nowhere and superkicked him before hitting Breakker with a Curb Stomp on the floor. The mystery man then threw Breakker into the ring and Oba Femi eliminated him immediately. After Breakker was eliminated the mystery man left through the crowd.
Following the show there was a lot of speculation regarding the identity of the mystery man and the High Spot Podcast is reporting that Grayson Waller was under the hood at the Royal Rumble. It was noted that Waller was pulled from NXT events so he could make the trip to Saudi Arabia.
The expectation is that Seth Rollins will eventually be revealed to be the mystery man, but Rollins was not in Saudi Arabia. Cory Hays of Bodyslam is also reporting that Rollins is expected to be back by WrestleMania which is why WWE did the angle with Breakker and the mystery man at the Royal Rumble.
