WWE tries their best not to spoil big surprises but you can’t stop them all from getting out there. But it’s still pretty bad when they spoil something themselves.
WWE doesn’t have an official magazine anymore and I really miss it. But they do still put out special editions such as a WrestleMania issue. This might sound like a good idea, but it would also be a good idea to make sure there aren’t any types of sensitive information disclosed in the issue that might not need to get out there before it hits newsstands.
But alas, it looks like WWE slipped up. It could be an instance of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing, but Mark Henry was the focus of an article called, “From the Hall of Pain to the Hall Of Fame.”
It certainly appears Mark Henry’s name is next to join an already stacked WWE Hall Of Fame consisting of Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Hillbilly Jim, Kid Rock, and Warrior Award recipient Jarrius Robertson.
In the article, Henry says: “My body is too beat up to turn a backflip, but if I could have done one, I would have! It wasn’t so much shock, but it was a feeling like, ‘are you kidding me?’ The greatest Superstars, the ones that I’ve grown up watching, are the ones who have received this honor, and to be able to say my name in the same breath as theirs is an unbelievable feeling.”
It’s pretty cool Mark Henry will be joining the WWE Hall Of Fame and since this is in the magazine like this I can only imagine he’s known about it for a little bit now so he’s pretty good at keeping a secret.
Henry’s name wasn’t on the list Brad Shepard reported months ago and Bam Bam Bigelow is still yet to be announced who was on Shepard’s list. But it will still be a stacked ceremony this year for sure as WWE tries their best to sell as many seats as possible in the Smoothie King Center.
