You never know what might happen when you watch WWE programming, and it looks like a return could be taking place sooner than later.
WrestleVotes reports that former United States and Raw Tag Team Champion Robert Roode is expected to return to Raw within the next week or two, and that he may possibly be returning as soon as tonight’s episode.
Roode last worked the Elimination Chamber match for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles back in March, and hasn’t competed since due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions.
Prior to his hiatus Roode was working in a tag team with Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown, but it was announced back in June that they had been traded to the Raw brand. It’s not clear at this point in time what WWE has planned for Roode, or if he’ll be teaming with Ziggler when he returns.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
