On Sunday night the annual WWE TLC pay-per-view will be airing live on the WWE Network, and then all eyes will be looking ahead to the Royal Rumble in January.
The Royal Rumble kicks off WrestleMania season, and it looks like WWE is saving a title match for the event.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, even though WWE has seemingly been teasing a Bobby Lashley vs. Riddle match, current plans call for Lashley to defend his US Title belt against Riddle at the Royal Rumble, not TLC.
As of this writing neither Bobby Lashley nor Matt Riddle are part of the TLC card, but it was noted that “everything changes every day.”
