The WWE SmackDown brand is in need of some new faces and it’s been rumored for some time now that we could be seeing some names get called up as SmackDown is adding a third hour next week.
It was recently reported on WrestleVotes Live on Fightful Select that there have been internal discussions regarding Joe Hendry being called up to the main roster. It’s also being said that SmackDown would be Joe Hendry’s permanent home and that USA network is keen on getting Hendry on the blue brand.
Joe Hendry has become one of the more popular names in the professional wrestling over the last few years, and he officially signed with WWE last month. Sean Ross Sapp reported that Hendry signed a main roster deal when he officially signed with the company.
2025 has been a big year for Hendry as he’s been a regular on NXT, and he also made appearances at WrestleMania and the recent Saturday Night’s Main Event which featured John Cena’s final match. Hendry will be making his SmackDown debut during this week’s episode as he’s set to face off against The Miz in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight.
