NXT is without a doubt one of the most exciting brands in all of professional wrestling, and the roster has no shortage of up and coming stars.
The stars of the NXT brand have a limited amount of time in regards to what they can do on TV, so everyone is trying their best to get a spot on the weekly show that airs on the WWE Network.
NXT General Manager William Regal announced a new tournament at the TV tapings at Full Sail University on Wednesday called the Breakout Tournament, and Regal declared that the tournament will be made up of 8 talents who haven’t been featured on TV yet.
Jordan Myles (formerly known as ACH), Dexter Lumis (formerly known as Samuel Shaw), Bronson Reed (formerly known Jonah Rock), Joaquin Wilde (formerly known as DJZ), Isaiah Scott (formerly known as Shane Strickland), Cameron Grimes (formerly known as Trevor Lee), Angel Garza (formerly known as Garza Jr), and BOA have all been confirmed for the tournament.
The winner of the tournament will earn the right to challenge for any title in NXT.
The brackets for the first ever Breakout Tournament can be seen below.
