At the TNA Impact Wrestling tapings in Bethlehem, PA, tonight a new TNA World Heavyweight Champion was crowned.
Kurt Angle was the special guest referee in a match featuring Bobby Lashley facing Bobby Roode, but was taken out earlier in the match after an accidental spear from Lashley. Angle returned at the end of the match to count the pinfall and crown Bobby Roode the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
This title match would air on October 29th, if TNA is taping in order. That means it would air after the Bound For Glory pay-per-view.
