Friday night Dalton Castle defended the Ring of Honor World Championship at Best in the World against Marty Scurll, and Cody Rhodes, and in the end it was Castle who walked out with the belt.
But Dalton Castle wasn’t so lucky when he defended the ROH World Title in a fatal 4 way against Matt Raven, Cody Rhodes and Jay Lethal at the TV tapings in Fairfax, VA the following night.
Jay Lethal won the belt for the second time in his career when he put Castle away with the Lethal Injection.
Dalton Castle won the ROH World Title at Final Battle in 2017, and he’s been the champion ever since.
The title match will air on TV in the coming weeks.
According to F4Wonline.com, Castle has been battling a bad back and a bad wrist for the last few months.
