The Impact Wrestling roster has undergone some major changes over the past few weeks. Quite a few familiar names have parted ways with the company such as Taryn Terrell and Rockstar Spud, and several referees have also been let go.
It’s believed that Impact Wrestling will be using Canadian referees for Bound For Glory and the following TV tapings as a cost-cutting measure, and it’s also rumored that we could be seeing some new names debut at the upcoming tapings.
PWInsider is reporting that Tamara McNeill who wrestles under the name Hania the Huntress is set to debut at the tapings this week in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Tamara McNeill is 27 and originally broke into the business as a masked wrestler named Saturnye in 2011 for CHIKARA before she went on to work for Ring of Honor and various other independent promotions over the last few years.
A new Knockout will be debuting this week, and a former Impact Wrestling World Champion will be returning at Bound For Glory.
Alberto El Patron is set to return on Sunday, and he recently told us that he has his eyes set on Eli Drake.
“The first one, and the one that I want to happen as soon as possible, is Eli Drake,” El Patrón told Still Real To Us. He continued, “I want to kick his ass. I want to erase that smile from his face because I don’t even know why he is so happy.”
