Finn Balor faced off against Elias Samson during the NXT tapings at Full Sail University on Thursday night and Balor made short work of his opponent. Following the match Balor got on the mic and cut a promo talking about how he wants to be the NXT Champion once again.
Samoa Joe came out followed by William Regal who announced that the two will be facing off in a NXT Championship match at the next NXT Takeover event on June 8. It’s also rumored that a stipulation will be added to the match but as of this writing a stipulation has yet to be announced.
