There are a few members of the WWE roster that are dealing with injuries right now. Emma is currently recovering from a shoulder injury, Braun Strowman recently underwent surgery on his elbow, and Kofi Kingston is expected to make his return soon.
But injuries aren’t exclusive to the WWE roster, as they also affect the NXT roster as well, and one NXT star had to miss TakeOver: Chicago because they weren’t cleared to compete.
Ember Moon was originally set to be part of the NXT Women’s Championship match featuring Asuka, Ruby Riot and Nikki Cross, but she was pulled from the match due to injury and it was changed to a triple threat.
Moon injured her should after she was thrown through the ropes during a battle royal and she landed wrong on the outside, but it appears that she’s recovered because she made her return at the NXT tapings at Full Sail University on Thursday night.
Ember Moon returned to the ring and she faced off against Peyton Royce in what fans in attendance said was a pretty good match.
With Ember Moon back in action it looks like business is about to pick up in the NXT women’s division, as Asuka recently surpassed Goldberg’s streak and she’s the current champion, so we’ll just have to wait and see who ends up challenging her next.
