Last week Vince McMahon announced that Shane McMahon will be running SmackDown and Stephanie will be running Raw. He then told them that they each have to choose their own General Manager.
WWE then made a little slip up on the WWE app hinting that the General Manager for SmackDown would be Daniel Bryan and it’s expected that Shane will reveal Bryan as the GM tonight on Raw.
PWInsider.com is reporting that Daniel Bryan is indeed backstage for Raw. Bryan is also booked for SmackDown tomorrow.
Daniel Bryan recently made his return to WWE programming as he’s been doing commentary for the Cruiserweight Classic with co-host Mauro Ranallo.
As far as the Raw General Manager goes there haven’t been any talks regarding outside names coming in for the role. It’s been rumored that Triple H or Kane could end up taking the role.
