Fans have seen Bobby Roode on NXT programming before. He made an appearance on screen at NXT TakeOver: Dallas when he appeared in the front row, and he also made a quick appearance backstage during NXT TakeOver: The End. Bobby Roode has also wrestled matches for the NXT brand as he was a part of the recent NXT UK tour.
It’s been exciting to see Bobby Roode make quick appearances here and there, but fans have been waiting months for to see him make his official debut and it finally happened at the NXT tapings on Wednesday night.
Bobby Roode appeared before the crowd at Full Sail University and told them that he is finally here and he is finally NXT. Roode told the audience that NXT will be glorious now that he’s here and that he will be at the helm of the new NXT. He said that he’s a superstar because he looks and acts like one.
According to fans in attendance Roode started out cutting a babyface promo then he slowly turned on the crowd. His debut should air on the August 10th episode of NXT.
