Tonight the stars of SmackDown Live are set to deal with the fallout from Clash of Champions when SmackDown airs live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and a former Impact Wrestling talent is backstage. PWInsider reports that former X-Division Champion Rockstar Spud is at the arena, and they shared the following photo of Spud’s arrival:
Spud was also backstage at Monday Night Raw this week, and it’s expected that he’ll be joining 205 Live very soon.
Rockstar Spud seems like he’s going to be a great addition to the cruiserweight division, as he’s proved that he can work in just about any role that’s presented to him.
The division certainly needs more interesting characters at the moment, and Spud fits that description.
It’s also being reported that former ECW star Colin Delaney is backstage as well. Delaney made an appearance on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live. No word on if he’ll be appearing on tonight’s show.
Tonight’s episode of SmackDown is set to feature a six man tag match that will see AJ Styles team up with Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura to take on Jinder Mahal, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. The Usos will also be in action as they’re set to face Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin.
