Fans who attended this week’s SmackDown Live tapings got to watch two episodes of the show, as next week’s episode was taped after the blue brand went off the air.
Next week’s show is set to air on Christmas, and the show will feature a US Title match.
Shinsuke Nakamura defended his United States Championship against Rusev during the tapings, and in the end it was Rusev who walked away with the belt.
Rusev defeated Nakamura with the Machka Kick, and after he celebrated in the ring with Lana. He is now a 3 time WWE United States Champion.
