Battleground was an interesting pay-per-view that was full of awkward moments that fans will never forget. The show featured the return of former WWE World Champion Great Khali, as well as a big US Title change, and tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live will focus on the fallout from the blue brand’s most recent pay-per-view.

At WWE Battleground on Sunday night, Shinsuke Nakamura faced off against Baron Corbin, and Shinsuke won the match by DQ after Corbin hit him with a low blow. Even though Shinsuke picked up the win, it looks like this rivalry is not over, because PWInsider is reporting that Shinsuke and Corbin are set to face off once again on SmackDown Live tonight.
Chad Gable vs. Rusev is another match that is reportedly penciled in for tonight’s show.
It’s also being reported that we will find out who be challenging Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam next month. Right now the smart money seems to be on John Cena becoming the next challenger, but that’s not confirmed.
