Tuesday night on SmackDown Live, Charlotte Flair defeated Natalya in her hometown to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion, merely days before The Queen of Black Hart’s scheduled match with Alexa Bliss at Survivor Series.
Charlotte has now stepped into Natalya’s place on Sunday night, but shockingly it seems that WWE hasn’t yet announced if the former Women’s Champion will be stepping into Charlotte’s place on the Survivor Series team.
A number of online reports now suggest that because Natalya wasn’t announced as the final member of the team on SmackDown, that WWE may have other ideas for the final spot and it could include the return of former Divas Champions Paige or Nikki Bella.
Whilst Natalya seems to still be the front-runner to be added to the blue team, it seems that WWE could be thinking of new ways to add to an already stacked card this weekend. The WWE Universe will already be witnessing the in-ring return of Triple H for the first time since WrestleMania, so could Nikki Bella be set to do the same? Or will WWE finally allow Paige to return to action for the first time in more than a year?
All will be revealed this weekend, but it seems that WWE is ensuring that they have as many shocks and surprises at this event as possible since it is there penultimate pay-per-view of 2017.
