Special Two Hour Episode Of NXT Airing Next Week, TNA Impact Viewership, WWE Gingerbread Men

For the next two weeks WWE will be airing special episodes of NXT on Wednesday nights. The first episode will be two hours long, and it will be made up of footage from the recent NXT live event in Osaka, Japan. Next week’s episode of NXT will feature the following matches:

-Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Samoa Joe (NXT Championship Match)
-Asuka vs. Nia Jax (NXT Women’s Championship Match)
-#DIY vs. Tajiri & Akira Tozawa (NXT Tag Team Championship Match)
-Liv Morgan & Aliyah vs. Billie Kay & Peyton Royce
-Oney Lorcan vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas

WWE also announced that the January 4 episode of NXT will feature Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Samoa Joe in a Steel Cage Match for the NXT Championship. The steel cage match was taped at the recent live event in Melbourne, Australia.

This week’s episode of TNA Impact was a best of 2016 show, and it drew 209,000 viewers according to ShowBuzzDaily.com. Viewership was down for this week’s show compared to the 329,000 viewers who tuned into Total Nonstop Deletion last week.

WWE released a new video that’s sure to to help fans get into the holiday spirit. The video features Cathey Kelley demonstrating how to make gingerbread versions of your favorite WWE Superstars and you can check it out below.
