You know what they say: the road is a dangerous place. I’m actually not sure if they say that, but it certainly seems to be a dangerous place for Alberto Del Rio’s former ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Ricardo took to Twitter earlier today to share a photo of his vehicle, which is now missing its back window, because apparently when you shoot a speeding bullet at glass, the glass doesn’t hold up so well.
That’s right folks, apparently someone busted out a gun and took aim at the former WWE star, but no injuries have been reported so luckily it appears that no one was hurt.
You don’t have to get shot at while driving to understand that having a bullet smash your back windshield while you’re in motion is a pretty terrifying ordeal.
There are quite a few gun owners on the road out there, and there are also quite a few people with road rage and sometimes those two things don’t make for a very good combination. But it doesn’t look like the broken windshield was a result of road rage and it doesn’t seem that the person who shot the window out had a very good motive, as Ricardo noted that he didn’t see the shooter, and presumed that it could have just been a kid with a BB gun.
Thankfully Ricardo is ok, although his car has certainly seen better days.
Let’s let this situation serve as a lesson to all the kids out there asking their parents for BB guns. Be careful when you shoot, because there’s not only a chance you could shoot your eye out, there’s also a chance you could piss off one of your favorite former WWE Superstars.
