Earlier this month Monday Night Raw premiered on Netflix and Solo Sikoa faced off against Roman Reigns in a Tribal Combat match. Reigns was able to defeat Solo Sikoa and he reclaimed the mantle of Tribal Chief, as well as the ula fala in the process.
Solo Sikoa has been quiet since then and he last appeared on WWE programming when he made his way out to the ring during the January 17 episode of SmackDown. The former NXT North American Champion was getting ready to cut a promo, but he was booed out of the building before he could say a word.
Sikoa was a key figure in both The Original Bloodline and The New Bloodline, and he recently broke his silence when he commented on the group’s success during an interview with Bleacher Report.
“I think anybody or anything that’s involved in the Bloodline story, it’s big already. I feel like no matter who’s the next comer, the newest members that come in, they’re just gonna elevate to the top just like Jacob, just like Tama and Tonga Loa.”
While commenting on what the future holds for him, Solo announced that he will be entering the Royal Rumble when he said, “Solo winning the Royal Rumble. Solo going on to main event WrestleMania, baby.”
As of this writing WWE has not officially confirmed Solo Sikoa for the 2025 Royal Rumble, but his comments seem to indicate that he is planning to enter the match.
Stay tuned for updates.
