SmackDown Tag Team Title Match Set For No Mercy

A few weeks ago American Alpha won the right to advance to the finals of the SmackDown tag tournament, but they were unable to compete after The Usos injured Chad Gable.

Chad Gable and Jason Jordan returned this week on SmackDown and they tried to get some revenge on The Usos. The two teams faced off with a shot at the SmackDown Tag Team Titles on the line, but it was The Usos who won the title shot.

Throughout the match The Usos targeted Chad Gable’s previously injured leg and Gable sold the injury. Near the end of the match Chad Gable wanted Jordan to tag him in, but Jordan decided against it because of Gable’s leg.

Jason Jordan was then attacked by both Usos who hit with a pair of superkicks followed by a splash for the win.

The Usos will challenge Rhyno and Heath Slater for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at No Mercy on October 9.
