WWE is the top of the mountain the professional wrestling industry, but the WWE life isn’t for everybody. From time to time wrestlers do request to be released from the company so that they can pursue other opportunities, and it’s rumored that a SmackDown Live tag team may have requested their release.

Super Luchas is reporting that there are rumors going around claiming that Epico and Primo, also known as The Colons, have requested their release. The rumor appears to have started circulating after a shirt for Orlando Colon surfaced on Pro Wrestling tees.
Orlando Colon is Epico’s real name, which is why the listing has created speculation that The Colons may be on their way out of WWE. However it should be noted that both Epico and Primo are listed as members of the SmackDown Live roster on WWE.com, and Orlando Colon’s store page also notes that he’s “currently performing in WWE as Epico.”
The fact that Epico now has a store on Pro Wrestling Tees under his real name is certainly interesting, but as far as their release goes, for now this rumor remains unconfirmed. Stay tuned for updates.
