Update: AJ Styles has apparently been cleared to return to action, as WWE has announced that he will be replacing Bray Wyatt at TLC on Sunday where he will face off against Finn Balor.
The health of WWE’s roster has caused some major concerns this week after it was reported that Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas had missed two weeks of Raw tapings because one or both of them were suffering from viral meningitis.
With TLC now just a few days away, this could have a huge impact on a show that already seems like quite a lackluster event, since it is reported that there could be a number of other stars on the roster who are currently less than one hundred percent.
It seems that the Raw Superstars are not the only ones who are affected by illness right now since it was reported by CagesideSeats that AJ Styles was forced to miss a WWE Live Event in Argentina last night after he was diagnosed with a stomach bug.
AJ’s illness isn’t thought to be serious and he could return to the ring tonight for SmackDown’s next event in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
It is unknown what caused AJ’s current stomach bug, but it is reported that he is the only star on the SmackDown roster who is currently suffering from the illness. The last thing WWE needs is their other roster suffering from illness too as they continue to build towards one of their biggest pay-per-views of the year next month.
