Over the last few years WWE released a number of talents, and quite a few of them were brought back after Triple H took over creative in 2022. Hit Row returned to the company last year, but it doesn’t seem that WWE has any big plans for the group as the company hasn’t done much with them since they got back.
Bryan Alvarez discussed Hit Row’s status on Filthy Four and noted that the company hasn’t fired anyone in quite some time, so Hit Row is not expected to be let go even though WWE hasn’t been doing anything with them.
”If it was a year ago, we would be going man these guys better answer their phone. I would not answer my phone if I were Hit Row. But they’re not firing anyone anymore. They haven’t fired anyone since before Vince left. And they’re still here. They do nothing with the, and they get buried.”
Business has been picking up in the tag team division as of late and last week on SmackDown a backstage segment aired setting up a gauntlet match to determine the number one contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles. However, Top Dolla and Ashante Adonis don’t seem to be getting involved in the title picture, so we’ll have to wait and see how things play out for the team in the future. Stay tuned for updates.
