There are a number of WWE deals that are set to expire in the upcoming months and it seems that the company is more motivated than ever to make sure that they don’t lose any talent to free agency.
PWInsider is reporting that Zelina Vega has signed a new multi-year contract with WWE. According to the report multiple WWE sources confirmed the new deal for Zelina Vega.
Zelina Vega first signed a contract with WWE in 2017 and she went on to work as Andrade’s manager on the NXT brand. Andrade and Zelina were called up to the main roster in 2018, but it was announced in November of 2020 that Zelina Vega had been released.
Vega returned to WWE in 2021 and went on to win the first ever Queen’s Crown tournament. She also won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Carmella, but unfortunately missed seven months of in-ring action due to injury. Zelina Vega returned to TV in October of 2022 and aligned herself with Legado Del Fantasma and she’s currently featured on the SmackDown brand as a member of the LWO.
